ED BOZARTH GENERAL MANAGER FEATURED ON NBC's THE APPRENTICE - Season 5, 2006

Episode Summary: The teams organized activities for a corporate retreat where the new 2007 Chevy Tahoe SUV would be introduced to GM dealers. The winning team would be the one that did the best job of educating the dealers about the Tahoe and getting them motivated to sell it. The General Manager of Ed Bozarth Chevrolet was one of only 10 attendee asked to participate in the event.

Theresa, this week's project manager for Gold Rush, was a chaotic leader. First she asked Tarek to develop a theme for the Tahoe introduction. Then she wouldn't listen to his ideas. Her plan for introducing the Tahoe was an unfocused mess: A horse and buggy would drive around while female models pitched the SUV and the GM dealers putted golf balls.

Andrea, Synergy's project manager, brought a lot more focus to her team's planning. Their activities for the GM dealers would include rock climbing, fly casting and skeet shooting - all pursuits that reinforced the Tahoe's image as a rugged outdoor vehicle.

After the retreat was over, Synergy won praise from the dealers and easily beat Gold Rush. Back in the boardroom, Theresa tried to blame her team's poor follow-through for their loss, directing special blame at Lenny and Tarek. But then Tarek retaliated by blaming her for shabby planning and leadership. The validity of his accusations was clear and Mr. Trump fired her.
